Florida Law Enforcement Memorial Services

Each Year,
Florida Stops to Remember.

The annual Florida Law Enforcement Memorial Service brings families, officers, agencies, and community members together in Tallahassee to honor the men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. The names are read. The wall is touched. The families are held close.

Why We Gather

A Ceremony Built Around the Families Who Carry the Weight.

The Memorial Service is the most sacred gathering on Florida FOP’s calendar. Each year, surviving spouses, parents, children, and siblings travel from across the state and from across the country to stand together at the State Memorial in Tallahassee. They are joined by officers who served alongside their loved ones, by agency leadership, by FOP members, and by community members who came to remember.

The ceremony serves as a reminder of the risks officers face every day and the strength of their commitment to service. It is also, simply, a chance to say their names out loud, together, in one place and to make sure no family has to do that alone.
