From the founding of the National FOP in 1915 to Florida’s state charter in 1953 and beyond, every year has been built by the membership.

National FOP Founded
Patrolmen Martin Toole and Delbert Nagle charter Pittsburgh Lodge #1, beginning the FOP.

Florida State Lodge
Florida State FOP is chartered, giving Florida law enforcement officers a unified statewide voice.
2013
Memorial Foundation
Florida State FOP Memorial Foundation is established to honor fallen officers + support families.
2026
24,000+ Members
Florida State FOP becomes the 3rd largest state lodge in the nation, with members across 67 counties.
