Florida State FOP is the official state lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers. We represent more than 24,000 members across Florida — sworn officers, deputies, troopers, and correctional staff from agencies in every region. Florida State FOP is the third-largest state lodge in the country, part of a national network of 373,000+ members and over 2,100 lodges. Officers lead this organization. Officers shape it. Our Mission
Florida FOP supports law enforcement through legal defense, labor representation, statewide advocacy, and member benefits. We protect officer rights, defend careers, and back the families who carry the weight of the job.
Florida FOP is run by working law enforcement officers. Members elect the Executive Board. Members elect their lodge officers. The Labor Council is staffed with people who have walked the calls, worked the shifts, and understood what's at stake when an officer needs help. This is not an organization run from a corporate office. It's not staffed by people who left the job decades ago.
